WELCOME!

"Struggle never last always" that was the song that echo in the mouth of an industrous man . It's indeed a great privilege for me to write this opening address on behalf of the central working committee of this project " LAUMSA 2015 HEALTH WEEK" . I'm happy for the challenge & honour to head such a big task. The race is not going to be for the swift , nor for the strong ,but for them that endure and persevere. I would also like to congratulate all members of the health week commitee for the opportunity and onus saddled on you to carry out this beautiful project

 LAUMSA is an acronym called Ladoke Akintola University Medical Students Assoication which is the umbrella body of all medical students in LAUTECH, having her members distributed in two different towns ie ogbomoso in oyo state and osogbo in osun state . The 2015 health week is the 11th edition of the association . It's aimed at bringing together all medical students in the college to organize health-informed events and deliberate on pertinent issues , aimed at improving the health sector of the states of osun and oyo in particular and the country, Nigeria in general.  I encourage our members towards achieving this aim. I understand the challenge we may face along the line as regard the ogbomoso - osogbo posting rotation but unfortunately we have no choice than to work synegistically. 

 We may miss wardrounds, lectures and all  but our ability to balance our academics with responsibilities like these  is what makes us  whole. I wish you all a very challenging and rewarding glorious health week. To the members of LAUMSA and general public,  we eagerly await your recomendations and contributions. Luckily, the weather has aligned with our individual wishes, we hope to carry them out with utmost commitment. The sun and I bid you a warm welcome.
