Messi, Ibitoye star as LAUMSA Fc drub ARD Fc
It was a tale of fun, excitement and laughter as LAUMSA Fc took on ARD Fc in a novelty football match on Day 5 of the healthweek at st leo catholic school oke onitea osogbo.
The match which took off at around 5pm and was refereed by Consultant ENT surgeon, Dr. Olaosun lived up to its billing as a match to watch out for, from dribbles, to harsh tackles and even aggression which characterizes all top matches was present.
After exchanging pleasantries, LAUMSA Fc did he kick off and it wasn’t long after then they drew the first blood in about 20 minutes from a set piece near the 18 yard box professionally dispatched by Michael Famewo(popularly called Messi) into the top left corner of the opponents post, just beyond the outstretched hands of the goal keeper. The crowd erupted GOAL!!!! And chants of MESSI MESSI MESSI rented the air, his gesture indicated there was more to come and truly, there was. And though the first half of the match ended 1- 0 in favour of LAUMSA Fc.The lead soon doubled after the interval, messi this time turning provider, after dribbling about 5 people and leaving them for dead on the left flank, he simply played the ball across goal into the path of the on rushing Femi Ibitoye, who had replaced tesleem at the interval for a simple tap in into the net.
Ibitoye doubled his own tally and made it 3 goals to nil a few minutes after in a similar fashion scoring after a goal mouth scramble. There was no stopping the players now, they grew in confidence and character, and even had a goal ruled out for offside in the closing stages which also saw the ARD team miss a penalty. In conclusion, it was a fun filled day and LAUMSITES left the field the happier side.
The adventure train moves to Erin Ijesa on Day 6 , take off point is the school hostel and time is 10am prompt, the train moves to Atlantis immediately on returning from the excursion for the Asun night. You don’t want to miss this.

Man of the match: more like women of the match, they include Deola, Wunmi, Medinat, Tola, Jedher and all other ladies who attended the match, guys swore the boys were not playing well until the ladies started hailing them. To them, we say thank you.
